Sinus augmentation with simultaneous removal of antral polyp

Abstract

Antral polyps are the most common pathologies found in maxillary sinus. If asymptomatic, it can be left untreated but if symptomatic and is encountered during posterior maxillary rehabilitation procedures like sinus augmentation procedures, it has to be treated preoperatively through FESS procedure by otolaryngologist or may be treated intra operatively during sinus elevation procedure as the case presented here.
