Abstract

The article deals with three "medical" options about the end of a man's life. The first two, respectively euthanasia and therapeutic obstinacy, are misunderstandings of human nature and dignity at the end of life and do not accept, in the end, that death is a human fact.

That is why, in this article, a third option is advocated: for the medical service of Palliative Care because comprehensively cares for terminally ill patients, with In order that they may lead a full life, within the context of the terminal illness.
