The aim of this paper is to provide a documentary reflection of the state of theological sciences in Costa Rica from global trends in the XXI century. A non-exhaustive exploratory research is proposed, based on a compilation and analysis of the literature on the new paradigms of biblical archeology, theological anthropology and a different perspective on the economic discipline, which makes theology unwavering support to proclaim the Good new since its prophetic character. A reflection is offered to contribute to public policy and to the search for the common good.
