Treatment of low back pain with inhaled Cannabis, a 24 months follow-up study

Abstract
Chronic low back pain (LBP) is a common treatment-resistant musculoskeletal condition. The current study reports the results of therapy in 29 consecutive patients treated by cannabis inflorescences for a 24-months. All enrolled patients, failed at least on year of pharmaceuticals including anti-inflammatory agents, opiates and neurological medication as well as failed course of physiotherapy and had an advanced imaging study supporting an organic cause of LBP. Exclu-sion criteria were patients unable to consent (minors, prisoners, mentally incapacitated).
