Abstract

The study focused on the extraction of essential oils from Schinus molle L. seeds using a novel pulsed steam distillation method, followed by fractionation to create an anti-inflammatory topical pharmaceutical product. This formulated product was unexpectedly employed in a specific case where an individual suffered a deep wound on the forehead due to an accident involving a sharp metal object, resulting in excessive bleeding.
