Abstract
Degenerative disk disease (DDD) is a progressive condition characterized by the breakdown of intervertebral disks. This represents a significant concern in spinal health due to its impact on flexibility, mobility, and quality of life. Although the exact causes of this disease remain unknown, its prevalence increases with age, and is influenced by several risk factors, including prior injury, excessive use, and repetitive activities.
