Abstract
Cancer is no longer a disease to fear; maintaining an optimistic outlook and trusting in nature not only supports healing but also inspires hope in patients. In recent years, increasing attention has been devoted to the development of anticancer agents derived from food and natural products. Due to their favorable safety profile, these compounds are regarded as promising alternatives or adjuncts to conventional anticancer agents. As a result, the integration of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) has become a growing practice among cancer patients, both for treatment and prevention.
