Abstract

Ectopic pregnancy is defined as the acute or chronic course of an extrauterine gestation in which the developing blastocyst implants in a location other than the endometrial lining of the uterine cavity. 69.2% of patients may experience complications. The risk of mortality in these patients is 10 times higher than in patients with intrauterine pregnancies.
