Abstract

As life expectancy extends, the prevalence of dementia, particularly Alzheimer's disease (AD), has risen significantly. This demographic shift has resulted in a growing population of AD patients who require varying levels of long-term care, placing substantial physical, emotional, and financial burdens on their family caregivers. Caregivers often face heightened risks of psychological distress, including anxiety, depression, and burnout. Understanding their mental health status and implementing effective interventions are critical to sustaining both caregiver well-being and the quality of care provided to patients.
